Downloading Riff Interactive Lesson
Collections |
|
System Check:
Our lessons only work on Windows 2000, XP, Vista or later. You will need
Windows Media Player version 9 or later and a sound card installed.
Click on this link to perform a quick
check of the components on your computer.
Install the necessary software:
If you haven't already, install Riff Workspace (version 3.0.1.50)
----------------------------------------
Riff Workspace is an application that organizes and displays your
lessons. It can be downloaded by
clicking on this
link.
Select "run" from the window that pops up.
After the
Riff Workspace software application is installed, you will be given a link to
download your lessons you have purchased through our
catalog.
Note that there is NO CHARGE for shipping/handling when ordering
downloadable lessons. This includes orders from countries outside
the United States also.
License:
Our lessons are licensed and protected using licensing technology that
comes with the Windows Media Player. It is the same technology
used by many other music download web sites.
The license is for a single computer. You may back up the
lesson files as you see fit but to play them on another computer,
you must contact us for a reissue of the license. The lessons
will not work on another computer without reissuing the license.
A license issue or reissue requires a connection to the internet,
but is very short. To reissue a license, send email to
'orders@riffinteractive.com' with the order number.
A license reissue would mostly likely be necessary to use the
lessons on a second computer, a new computer, or a re-built
computer. We are very flexible with a license reissue but may
deny it based on our own discretion. The purpose is to protect
the lessons from being copied (or worse: sold) to anyone/everyone on
the internet. If no one abuses this, it should not be a
problem.
