Hello!

I read another topic under your name (Suggestions for lessons) and you say just send me an mp3 of the file and I can trasncribe it for you. How?!

I try to work out some songs without going to get the tabs, but I can only work out the simplist tunes. How can I improve my ability to work out songs by just listening to them?

Thanks, Rich.

Hi Rich,

Usually the students just sends an MP3 through email to the teacher. I think most email programs allow large files like that nowadays.

We listen to the song and figure out the licks and riffs and transcribe the song for the private students. All of the teachers having been transcribing songs for years. The Riff software is a perfect tool for learning and transcribing songs.
Thanks!
