1. In the speed techniques CD, you show the pick being held at an angle to the strings in the first lesson. Do you stick with this technique throughout? It doesn't sound like it later on!
2. Do you use a heavy or light pick?
3. For your "what to learn" question, I suggest you think about a lesson on phrasing. I think it might benefet blues, jazz ,rock and metal players. Also, you have a link to Improvizing 101 that is dead.

Yes, I hold the pick that way for the fast picking. I use a med-heavy pick, a Dunlop Tortex .88 (Green) Thanks for the lesson suggestion, I'l keep a note of it.
