Hi, I just bought an Electro Harmonix Memory Man Deluxe analog delay. I'd like to use it in the send / return of my Peavey 5150. Apparently the delay cannot be used with quite some volume and a bit of gain being send from the pre-amp into the unit, as the 'overload' led blinks already at very small (!) volumes. WTF?? Placing the delay before the pre amp (so not in the send/return, but in the input) sounds horrible. Conclusion: I cannot use this delay in the send return and probably will have to buy a boss digital delay?
I hope someone can help me with this matter!

I'm not familiar with that pedal. Try contacting the dealer you got it from or the manufacturer with tech support questions.

Most stomp box pedals are designed to go between the guitar and amp. Most rack mount devices are designed to go in the effects loop of an amp. Keyword: Most.
