hello, i just singed up because i have a question.
i am thinking about having a guitar made at warmoth.com
and i am not quite sure what woods i want on it. i was thinking of puting a flame maple top on a hard ash body.
the neck i was thinking a flame maple neck with a brazilian rosewood fretboard. classy. i tried to pick harder woods in hope of lots of sustain. by the way, the body is a les paul shape if that makes a difference. what do you think?

Deville
Maple and ebony are woods with the most density that I know of out side grafite. So I think you are on the right track as far as woods, but you might want to talk to a luthier to confirm. The pickups are ver important on the sustian as well.
