Hi guys and teachers...

I've been learning to alternate pick for a about 2 and a half months now...all together I have been playing guitar for about 6 months.

I have logged my speed via the metronome and I am playing triplets at 115 bpm. I would just like to know if this is any good or whether i need more practice for my stage of learning?

Thanks

DeeeM

You're on the right track. Keep increasing your metronome speed, pushing yourself to go faster and faster.
I've created a Riff Interactive CD-ROM called Speed Techniques 101that you might find very helpfull. It's full of many things to learn and practice to help develop your left and right hand speed. It's only $10.99, less than the price of one private lesson. I think you'll like it.
