This site is sooooo cool. Unfortuantely, as things currently sit, there is no Mac OS X support for this site. The Indeo codec is and will not support Mac OS X. The main problem is not that Riff Interactive doesn't care about its mac users, the problem is that they are using non open standards for the lessons.

Why use a proprietary codec when they can use something more open (not free, but rather open meaning that someone other than Intel, or ligos can make a plugin for it), or at least supported among platforms. (mpeg4)

Its frustrating not being able to use this great site, simply because they don't implement open standards, and use MS only technology.

Anyone on this board using Linux? Anyone using anything other than windows? Is it working? I'm just looking at how I can use this site without using windows. I don't have a windows computer.

amen. I'm actually suprised by the lack of support for non-winblows os's. Especially considering the fact that most musicians I know use macs. I'm a linux user and I've been trying to get a cd my dad bought me to work with wine but it uses activeX nastyness so I've yet to get it working. People of riff, please consider using open standards. If you need help let me know and I'll help point you in the right direction.
