I have a wah pedal, a compressor/sustainer pedal, a chorus, and an echo pedal. Is there a best order to arrange these or is it just experimentation for a prefered sound. I heard the compressor is best first in the chain but wondered if anyone had any comments.

I used to have a link to a site that allowed you to simulate effects pedals in a chain. I couldn't find it, but I found these note for now.

If you have an effects loop on your amp, throw the chorus and delay in there, delay last. Compressor first.
