Acoustic Kentucky Bluegrass - Tuesday - Week 2

This bluegrass lick starts by playing the root note of the G chord and then strumming the middle strings of the chord. The second portion of the phrase hammers on the 5th string (open to 2nd fret), then later on the 4th string. Notice how the flatpicking pattern enhances the chords played.
