Today's lick demonstrates a classic walking bass lines with chords. The phrase starts on the A minor barre chord and walks up the 2nd and min 3rd intervals on the 6th string. The second measure plays the D major chord and then ascending the a chromatic run on the 5th string. You resolve the phrase by strumming the Cmaj7 chord on the 10th fret. Using your thumb and fingers for picking are an important element of playing these types of lines.
